This page includes photos of mosaic projects I've done over the years, as well as other works of art.

This piece  began its life as a 16-pound bowling ball.  I covered it with tile and created my own version of the Mad Hatter's Teapot.

A full size guitar covered with glass and ceramic tiles, ceramic shapes, and metal findings.  This was donated to community radio station KXCI-FM for their 25th anniversary fund-raising efforts.

Terra cotta strawberry pot covered with ceramic and mirror tiles.  The grout used was called Green Tea. It's best to seal the Terra cotta inside and out before affixing any tile.

Another terra cotta pot covered with broken ceramics and tile shapes.

This sunflower mirror has an MDF substrate.  It was covered in tiles and grouted before the beveled mirror was added.

Round Terra cotta pot (8-inch diameter) that sits on a metal stand.

This is a 12-inch square Terra cotta pot covered with broken ceramic, broken Talavera and ceramic shapes.  Grouted with a medium brown grout.

For a conga-playing friend, this piece was composed using vitreous glass tiles, mirror tiles, and metal findings.  The skins of the drums were created using a light grout, while the rest was done in dark gray.

A birdbath created from a salad bowl and a wooden candle stick purchased from Casa de los Ninos thrift store.  The bowl and candlestick were attached using wood screws and epoxy.  The entire piece is covered in glass, ceramic, findings, mirror tiles, and river rock.
A metal plant stand was affixed to the bottom of the piece to give it more stability.

Inside, there are various glass animal figures to give the birds a place to perch!

The "Be Kind" mural was designed by a friend, Gary Mackender, and created with a village of people, all to benefit Ben's Bells, a local charity created to inspire and motivate intentional acts of kindness.  It's a beautiful site to see at Winsett Park, on 4th Avenue between 7th and 8th.
